Civil War Nonregulation Solingen Infantry Sword Sabre Krause97 store. Civil war non-regulation solingen infantry sword sabre. Up for auction is a civil war non regulation infanrty sword sabre made by w. Clauberg solingen. These sword weer imported from germany during the civil war. The blade has u. S. Etched on one side adn e. Pluribus unum with an eagle over the words with some more scrolling. The blade si marked w. Clauberg solingen with the armor suit man in the middle as seen in the photo. I believe the handle is shark skin with twisted and straight wire wraped. Teh sword is 38 inches long and the blade is 32 inches long. Condition the blade has been broken and repaired with a gold colored metal, brass? (looks to be an old repair and seems to be very strong). A section of about 7 inches, the balde edge has been hit on something that put a bunch of nick in the edge. (see photos). The handle has a bend above the eagle which may be able to be betn back. Most of the shark skin is still there but worn and the wire is all there. The scabbard is pretty idnged up and missing the drag tip. I included many photos, so please inspetc for condition.
S/h in the continental us will be $15.00. Email for international shipping cost as some countires do not allow sword to be shipped. Please see my other auctions for more militaria i would be happy to combine s/h cost for multiple purchases shipping together. Certain.
