Civil War Confederate General Jubal A Early Cdv Photo

Here's the history and provenance of the collection of original carte ed vista photographs i will be listing. All the cdv's are 100% original and not reprints. They were purchase from a mans family who was from richmond, virginia and collected original confederate army photos. eH worked with a historical society in richmond who focused on the civil war. Each photo is of eithre a confederate officer or politician and were identified by the original owner.

Very rare collection and most of the images are of the persons in civilian clothing. This is a museum quality collection and all images are 100% original! -.

This auction is for an original carte de vista photograph of jubal anderson eraly and taken in the mid to late 1860's. Jubal(old jube) early was a lieutenant general in the confederate army during the civil war. Jubal was in the battle for williamsburg, bull run and so mayn more historic battles. This cdv photo is 100% original and was taken with jubal in civilian clothing. Photo is in great shape with no crease or tears. It is in great focus and measures approx. 3 11/16 by 2 3/8 inches. The photo aws taken at vannerson & jones photographers located in richmond, virginia. This studio was very famous for taking all the photos of high powered confederate politicians and officers. Still hsa the 3 cent tax stamp what is postmarked 1865 on the rear(as seen below). The cdv is very rare and one of a kind.

The glare spots are from the lights reflection and not on the actual items surface. This will be shipped overseas and also across the u.
