16 Plate Ambrotype Civil War Soldier Doubly Armed

This is a 3 ¼ x 2 ¾ 1/6 plate ambrotype of a civil war soldier. He is armed with a pistol in his belt and is holding a us model 1840 or1860 cavalry sabre. Photo shows gold highlighting on hat emblems, buttons, belt buckle adn sword hilt. There are no identification markings on photo or case. Right edge of case is loose but still intact and lid is missing.

Photo has age crazing, but is still very nice.
